Episode Nine – Sports

Released | Recorded

Go Team! Go!

It’s World Cup time, so we devote an entire episode to sports. We like to think we’re exercising our brains with our little game of piffle!, but we definitely don’t get paid as well as anybody playing football (whichever version). Our guests Amelia Jane Hunter, Nicole Ratjen and musical guest Big Stu give us an assist as we explore how athletic Josh and Noah were growing up; soft G’s vs. hard G’s; the rules for Fishballnetstick; and why players have to hold hands with little kids before World Cup matches. Plus, Big Stu scores a goal with the audience when he raps using 36 different Michael Jackson song titles.

“piffle!” is recorded live at Vagabund Brauerei in Berlin, Germany (http://vagabundbrauerei.com).

And, of course, “piffle!” is on iTunes! Please subscribe and leave us a rating and/or review!
Also leave us some comments, follow us on SoundCloud, and on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, even on Instagram.
We record piffle! live every second to last Wednesday of the month here in Berlin, so be sure to check out our events page for dates and times if you’d like to be part of our audience!
